  1. My BenQ rotating monitor is a key component to my workstation. I work with a MacBook Pro and detachable hard drives for my images, and the ability to rotate my screen to enlarge a vertical image is extremely helpful.
  2. My Artist’s Air easel attachment air purifier. The air cleaning system collects and filters dusts from my workspace.
  3. This is a custom-made pastel taboret I designed to allow for me to have all of my pastel sticks in one place. The top two boxes roll outwards using kitchen cabinet tracks and then folds in for easy consolidation when I need to rearrange my space for the rare times that I paint in oil. This taboret is by far the second most important item in my studio.
  4. My Hughes Easel #3000. I bought this after my very first commission over 20 years ago. It is the best easel made today; the internal counterbalance mechanism makes it easy to move smoothly with just one hand. Each Hughes easel is built to last a lifetime and is the most important item in my studio.
  5. The windows. When buying this home almost 20 years ago, the main aspect was this room, which is now my studio. For my 40th birthday all I wanted was to have a window tower built to replace the skylights and low ceiling so my easel could move up to its full height and would flood the space with natural light. My space overlooks the woods behind my house, so it is a beautiful scene each and every day.
