I specialize in creating enchanting nature scenery with a touch of fantasy, using a combination of gouache and poster color paints. Gouache, with its opaque and vibrant colors, creates solid areas of color, while poster color is commonly used for commercial artwork, posters and illustrations. The versatility of these paints allows me to experiment with different techniques, creating bright and bold colors.

Dramatic Cloud, gouache To create a striking, otherworldly atmosphere, I utilized the art poster technique to paint a fiery sunset sky and imposing cumulonimbus clouds in the background. In the foreground, I painted smaller clouds as a separate layer with more defined edges, creating depth and drama in the scene.
Since I was a child, I’ve been inspired by the background designs of animated movies. My paintings often feature natural landscapes such as forests, mountains and rivers, with added elements of fantasy. This combination creates a new world atmosphere, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the painting.
Autumn Cottage, gouache, My goal for this painting was to evoke a cozy, rustic atmosphere by depicting a charming cottage nestled amidst scenic mountains and water. I carefully selected warm colors for the trees to stand out against the cool hues of the surrounding scenery, resulting in a harmonious balance of tones.
I have developed several techniques to achieve different effects. Wet-on-wet painting involves applying a layer of clean water on the paper surface before painting, which blends the colors together to create a smooth transition. I use this technique for painting skies, clouds, large grass fields or anything that requires a soft gradient look.

Fall Hiking Trail, gouache, Inspired by digital animation backgrounds, I used a single round brush to create this dynamic scene. I painted the trees in bold blocks of saturated colors and values to suggest depth and shading, while the ground was rendered in multiple muted colors blended together to achieve a naturalistic texture. The result is an evocative painting that blends traditional gouache technique with a modern sensibility.

Morning Glow, gouache, I employed the wet-on-wet technique to produce a soft, ethereal sunrise glow in the sky and some hazy shapes in the background. In contrast, I used wet-on-dry to paint the dark, distinct foreground plants, emphasizing their contrast with the dreamy background.
Another technique involves quickly applying thick layers of paint next to and slightly overlapping each other. This technique creates a textured, bold effect while still softening the boundaries between colors, showcasing the brushstrokes.
My artwork combines the versatility of gouache and poster color with a whimsical touch of fantasy, resulting in enchanting natural landscapes that draw the viewer in.
