1. My peg boards keep my studio organized and enable me to find the color or tool that I need while I’m working.
2. Lulu is my studio companion. She is 2½-year-old bunny from Friends of Rabbits rescue in the Washington, D.C. area.
3. I have painted hundreds of landscapes on these cradled wood panels from Blick. I primed them with shellac, which seals the surface while retaining a medium texture that provides control over my paint application.
4. The paintings on the easel are an example of the many oils I have completed on primed watercolor paper. My flat files provide a great storage solution for all these pieces.
5. My paper cutter allows me to trim down my oils on paper. I can clean up their edges for framing or modify the composition by eliminating any unsuccessful areas.
*Least favorite part of my home studio: white carpet. (I use moving blankets to protect the carpet while I paint.)
