1. I have tried several different palettes, but hands down, this New Wave gray palette is my favorite! 

2. The high north light windows. The studio is a new addition, joined to the old house. The roof line dictated the shape of the windows. The light is heavenly.

3. A dear friend gave me the old blue door. It makes a wonderful backdrop for still life work. The other side is a darker blue.

4. The tiny palette was made by my oldest son out of a scrap of Texas mesquite that had a live edge curve. I use it for oiling out with oleogel. It’s very special to me. 

5. Moses Mack. My sweet, faithful companion. There’s nothing like a good dog.
