How to Enter

Entries may be submitted online at www.internationalartist.com/competitions. Mail-in entrants may scan the QR code to download the International Artist official printable entry form. Artists may enter an unlimited number of works. Only submissions made using the International Artist Competitions Online Entry Form or the International Artist official downloadable entry form are eligible.

Eligibility

This is an open competition — all artists working in painting or drawing media are eligible to enter provided they meet the rules. To conform with the spirit of the awards all work must be original and completed within the last two years and would not be disqualified if it has won any previous prize or award in any other art competition. No copies from other artists’ works, paintings from other artists’ photographs, from published material, digital art or work created with AI (artificial intelligence) is allowed. Source material must be original and available on request. No supervised work will be allowed.

Closing Date

All entries must be received by the Entries Close date listed for the current competition.

Mail-In Entries

The Mail-in Entry Form is provided by scanning the QR Code provided. Mail-in submissions must be in the form of digital prints produced on photographic-quality paper no smaller than 8 × 5 inches (20 × 13 cm). Please do not send original artwork. Images will not be returned, so please make duplicates for your records.

Entry Form

Mail-in entries must be accompanied by one original Official Entry Form per artist. Photocopies of the form may be used for multiple submissions. Online entrants must agree to all rules and conditions before submitting images on the online form.

Image Labeling & Packaging for Mail-In Entries

Each digital print must be clearly labeled with the artist’s name, artwork title, medium, and dimensions. Do not write directly on the back of the print; instead, attach a label. Only properly labeled prints submitted with fully completed Official Entry Forms will be accepted. Entries should be protected with a cardboard stiffener.

Entry Fee

An entry fee of US$18.00 applies to each artwork submitted. Payment must accompany the Entry Form and may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or check/money order. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Judging

All entries will be reviewed and selected by the Chief Judge of International Artist magazine and the magazine’s editorial team. All Judges’ decisions are final.

Publication of work

By signing the Entry Form, artists grant permission for their work to be published in the International Artist magazine, International Artist websites and International Artist social media, if their work is selected as a finalist or winner. Any work reproduced in this way will be given proper credit at all times. While every effort is made to ensure accurate color reproduction, variations may occur due to the limitations in the four-color printing process beyond the publisher’s control.

Terms

Submission of an entry in this competition automatically constitutes acceptance of all competition rules and conditions. No correspondence will be entered into regarding judging decisions. Winners and Finalists will be notified by email and announced in the first available issue of International Artist magazine.
